With all the kerfuffle over digital ID not even one little mention of this.

There will still be digital checks on those starting a new job, but people will not need to hold a digital ID.

I doubt they've given up on the idea, they're just going to play the slow game.

haven't heard anything about the requirement for directors to be registered, has that changed?

I expect they're too busy stabbing each other in the back, and thinking of new ways to pissoff even more people.

The nightmare scenario for the right is that Reform and the Tories split the centre right/right vote leaving the door wide open for Labour to be re-elected.

Nightmare? More like racing certainty. I think it's a given that Reform and the Tories will split the vote ( probably in Mr Farage's favour, I reckon. He has the appeal of something we haven't tried before ). I also think that Labour is currently unelectable. I have never seen a government alienate so many people so quickly. Greens, Lib Dems et al will take their share, And my money would be on a hung parliament. ( I'll set 'em up. you knock 'em down ), total chaos.

Do you think that they will still try to push it later on in this term?

Directors do have to be registered.

I think it is pretty clear Trump is going to step up the pressure to get Greenland; but ultimately it will be a deal just like the majority of the current USA.

In other words the USA will literally buy Greenland.  They bought Alaska, Florida, not to mention the Louisiana deal that included all or part of 13 states; and others.  As there is such a small population of Greenland they could easily make it worth their while and make a tempting offer to the Danish government.

I was thinking the same thing. I think that he will strongarm a sale. Shirley there is no way that she will invade.

He's pushing the tariff threats now.

This dates from 2013 but I don’t care.

A 3 year old falls down a well, and a skinny 14 year old volunteers to be lowered down to rescue the kid.

In a world increasingly full of Ai slop and computer generated bs here’s real emotion at play.

Seen it many times, never fails to move me.
