Reading this, I am making an assumption - partly based on your bias against anyone whose religion is not of your approval, JohnsonD - that you are inferring that the man was crushed because he was praying and a Muslim?

This must go down as one of the most ludicrous things you have ever typed on this forum. If I was you I'd be checking what gas is in those Scuba tanks you sniff all day long.

Now that the HSE are involved - their primary work is accidents in the work place - the mans place of work. He could equally have been under the car doing an oil change, as anything else. Now your obsession tonight is a single point of failure has caused this, and that single point of failure is that single thing that could have been done to prevent an accident.

Truth is, we don't know, which is why the HSE are investigating. I am surprised that you are unaware what the HSE do in investigations. When their investigation is completed we will know.

I will bet you, lets say, your vanity van that the cause of the accident is not 'Act of a god' (you can pick the god too if you want).

It will be something such as poor maintenance, overriding a safety mechanism, operator error. In fact if you have ever read any reports by the HSE, fatal accidents usualy stem from humans doing something they shouldn't or not maintaining something they should. I've never seen one report saying 'act of god'.

If you want to continue to spou your racism, this isn't the forum for it.

😂😂😂🤷‍♂️Right blagger seeing as you are on it tonight how’s about you sort out those loose ends lad.
As for the fool under the car, there’s a time and place for everything in life that was evidently not neither  in his case.
Another string to your bow SP eh HSE expert too, what are you ?? NEBOSH/IOSH ( both good courses by the way, mind you probably not much use in an office) qualified, just for some context before you make yet more BS assumptions. You did say one thing that’s correct for a change and that’s the fact the accident was in a “ place of work” not prayer. Are you suffering from some form of learning disability 🤷‍♂️I’ve said to others  on here that Scuba is banned for commercial use under the HSE ACOPS L103/104 do you struggle to comprehend that. By the way it’s Cylinder not Tank. Try and remember that.

You and these assumptions lad, the amount of times you have made a total tit of yourself I’d have thought you might have learned your lesson.
He was crushed because he was under a car praying, in a workplace not paying attention to his surroundings, he’s a bloody fool quite frankly, it’s you not I that mentioned your second favourite word  “ Muslim” .
I wonder if it had been a daft bugger with a bible sat there and I’d posted exactly the same comment up I’d have got the same libtard outcry 🤔not a bloody chance.
Anyway other thread loose ends etc etc any chance 🤷‍♂️

If praying had been the single cause to the accident then the HSE wouldn't have prosecuted the garage. It would have been noted as an act of a god. That didn't happen. Accident happened as I noted above by human error. The lift could as easily collapsed while the man was under the car doing any other task. Only an idiot would think otherwise really, acts of god don't happen.

The fact that the ONLY HSE prosecution you have mentioned on this forum involves a Muslim (who has suffered massive injuries by the way) is down to a single fact: JohnsonD is deeply racist and thinks that gloating on this forum is going to win favour with all and everyone.

Note here: The man was seriously injured in a work place accident. JohnsonD didn't bring this to our attention to make all our garage work safer, he brought it to our attention to highlight it was a Muslim who was injured.

I write this having looked at the HSE fatal accidents, if you want to teach us all a lesson, make our work with trees safer have a look through that - there is a listing - 2024 to 2025, several cases of arborists, farmers, forestry workers being killed in work. Why didn't you highlight any of them - relative to the forum, a better learning opportunity and a reminder to us all to be safe. Oh, yes, I know, none of the ones listed had 'foreign' names.....

Caused  in no small part by his own stupidity. Praying on his knees not paying attention under a suspended load.
We have HSE diving inspectors on the vessel periodically SP who will spend the whole trip watching, interviewing, looking through every piece of client/contractor documentation etc etc I know how the HSE work as an organisation, I’ve seen them put prohibition and improvement notices in and prosecute companies within my own industry ( not a secret like yours) I know without doubt the fact an individual chose to pray “ UNDER” a suspended load in a workplace would not be just ignored as inconsequential.

Something far more important. In particular for those who have served in the armed forces.

The workplace equipment failed. Accident happened. That is all the story there needs to be.

It was posted here, not because it is relevant to someone climbing trees for example. There are plenty of accidents there you could refer to. It was noted here because of the victim - who has suffered massive injuries - it was noted here ONLY because the victim was a Muslim. If he wasn't you would have passed the story by and said nothing.

Noting here that the HSE fatalities listings show similar accidents of "British" sounding employees... and yet you say nothing about them. Why is that?

Bloke in NZ that posts here occasionally.  Jesse Coleman? A guy I know worked for him out there, helicopters etc.
