If we burn all the cats in a biomass boiler we would get some power and a few more birds to keep the wind turbines spinning for an extra few months a year! Winner winner

Never seen piles of dead birds under any of the turbines I have been around....

Just been having a think about this.... perhaps the reason why is that the end of the turbine blade is like a baseball bat and the birds are sent miles away... However birds are also designed to avoid things like falcons which can reach similar speeds to a tip of a turbine blade so not sure again. Tricky this green stuff.

Cars probably kill far more birds than wind turbines and cats combined .

I haven't got a link for that before anyone asks😂

Going for a wander around the wind farm shortly, I'll count the 'sleeping' badgers on the road and the birds I see under a turbine.

I live in an area which has hundreds of turbines dotted around, yet the bird life is incredible, never seen a dead buzzard, crane or eagle yet, maybe they have good eyesight?

2 badgers and a squirrel. No birds... though the blades might have caught them and shot then into the heather

you won't because of all the scavenger birds and animals will have them overnight plus i know 3 keepers that go early morning before the dog walkers and ramblers get there and pick any protected birds up so Thay are not accused of killing them
