Suck it up then.

Nope I think I’ll just cancel my subs and membership instead and be a selfish twat, do as much as I can onshore and ltd and avoid paying into the system as you’ve previously advised.

It wasn't so long ago that you and Shandy were having a go at me for making the most of the tax breaks that a good accountant can secure for you. Now you're on about doing less work to avoid paying more tax. Hypocrites, stop winging if you're not playing the game.

Ah playing the game is what you call it nowadays 🤔 “ tax avoidance is what it used to be called I think” There’s a huge difference between what you’ve boasted about and what decision I’ve taken now. I’ve taken the foot off the pedal to try and create a better work life balance more so than avoiding just working my arse off to pay ever increasing levels of tax, something you approve of yet brag of avoiding 🤷‍♂️Who’s the ****************ing hypocrite Mark ?. I’m not putting myself out there as some kind of socialist hero yet playing the system to avoid paying my share as you are fond of telling us, hidden under the veil of your “good accountant”, so again Who’s the ****************ing hypocrite Mark ?. You were getting ready to prematurely explode after pulling the heed off watching lynch gob off to some inept politicians.   I’m giving you real time subs paying experience of an RMT member and best you can come up with us “suck it up”.  Was I whinging ??? Nope I gave you some home truth about your union porn socialist fantasy figure which you don’t like.
By the way the gullible fools who backed covid measures to the hilt should hold their hands up and admit the part they have played in the current mess. That would include yourself.
The recently announced 42% rate was the final straw for me Mark, stick on 9% class 4 NI and no thanks is my attitude.

I chose to go self employed years ago in order to create a better work life balance, I was also going out with an accountant at the time who made sure I wasn't paying more tax than necessary. If I'm guilty of tax avoidance I'm sure The Rev will get back to me in good time. I'm currently on the books for a firm and still pay for an accountant.

Ha ha OK, sorry for being concerned about the plight of the most vulnerable in society based on the evidence available at the time.

Self employed since I left army Mark. There’s a fine line as well you know between avoidance and evasion and an even less defined moral one in particular for those who claim to be of a left wing socialist leaning on one hand yet boast about how good their accountant is on the other. As for the being concerned based upon the evidence at the time 🤔no Mark, the evidence available at the time or indeed since never ever justified the ludicrous actions taken.

Ah well, we're never going to see eye to eye on this one. At the end of the day we all do what we can to better our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Different strokes for different folks.

APPLE.NEWS

Tens of thousands of staff at crisis-hit HM Revenue and Customs are poised to go on strike as morale...

Quite frankly I’ve zero sympathy, loads of them are still working from home taking the piss from the covid farce. They are quick to take and destroy joe average but ridiculously slow at paying back rebates or catching genuine criminals. Mind you after a 4 year investigation slog with them I may be a tad biased.
