Without descending into unworthyness, you've not made a single argument about why killing young people is worse than middle-aged ones?

The only positive outcome about all this is that you cant delete your posts so when your kids grow up they'll discover this thread and get to see just how much of a moronic cretin their father was in relation to an Islamist terrorist attack that specifically targeted young girls.

Honestly, if you don't know why killing 8 year old kids is worse than killing adults you've got something wrong with you.

I just remembered you're one of those people that gets a buzz from calling people who criticise muslims as "racist"....

So, suppose there is something wrong with me (I know a few things are, none of which are relevant) and it really is that simple, please explain it to me in simple logic that even I can understand?

And no, I call racists racist.

Unquestionable logic:thumbup1:

He's good at that.

If you were faced with the decision, given the choice between you or your 8yr old daughter (or any child) getting shot/blown up, what would you choose?

My kids know me, all of me, warts and all.

My question wasn't specifically in relation to terrorism, religion or this weeks events but the general outcries this week just made me wonder (been working alone a lot) about the logic of this reaction.

Also, your post seems to imply it's worse killing girls than boys?

Or was is just that there were more girls there than boys? (i'd never heard of the artist performing, not a clue about her audience demographics)

Life is like a fairground ride, we each get our turn, if you die young you fail to get your full turn, which is sad, IMO.

Also as we are the product of evolution, procreation and the passing on of ones genes is the fundamental driver in life, dying before you can complete or even begin this is also sad, IMO.

I don't think any of us can answer that without actually being in that position (it's all good saying what you would do, but in the moment such preempted decisions don't hold sway)

Obviously I'd gladly give my life to save my kids, when they were born I was infused with a love they can never break no matter how annoying they can get. (I believe this is by genetics/design otherwise no person alive would have had more than one:biggrin:)

But equally, my parents would give their lives for mine.

So how does age matter?

So then do you think the "cut-off" point where it becomes less horrible for a person to die is after they've had the chance to recreate?

What about raising the kid(s)? would that not be part of the cycle?

My family would argue grand-parenting is part of this cycle too?

I would argue the later the better.
