You never know, you might have to get a proper job if oil goes out of favour.

You know, thats a genuine worry.  I have little transferable skills into the 'real world'. Im one of 6 in our company in Norway who does what I do, Im senior. I was sitting on my business class seat on the flight back to Aberdeen today after 6 weeks in Norway and they begged me to do another 3-4 weeks at £1000 a day. I knocked them back as I miss my wife and kids.

Im a time served Car Mechanic and have a second four  year apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (for what thats worth) but you're right, how do I transfer 22 years in the oil game to real life? It simply does not equate.

My plan is to buy all the gear but understand I'll have no idea. ;)

Fair play, if you took your news feed from the BBC you’d maybe be justified in thinking Trump a total fool that suggested drinking or injecting bleach as a cure for C19.

There’s no getting away from the fact that he does come across as a total loon at times.

But it just doesn’t add up.

How can he have achieved so much if he is the buffoon that he is portrayed as?

Is it media misdirection and misinformation?

I can see why some are fundamentally  opposed to him but anyone with an ounce of intelligence must be questioning the sources of their opinion forming material.

During the last years of the Reagan administration...
Ronald suffered from dementia?
He would wake up in bed, not knowing where or who he was...
Until two suited men would walk in and say "Good morning mr President".

Let's get this right, he didn't understand that disinfectant is good at cleaning hard surfaces to kill the virus, and sugeseted that it might be ok to have it injected to clear the lungs. Or have I still got it wrong?

You haven’t got it wrong mate, you’ve just assimilated the information the BBC wanted you to from their 1 minute edited version of an hours briefing. They’ve cut and spliced entirely separate sections to present a message that never actually existed in the first place. Straight out of the Jon Sweeney playbook.

The fact that people actually believed that Trump was literally instructing them to inject bleach into themselves is the VERY SAME reason why we have to have ‘caution may contain nuts’ on a packet of KP peanuts or ‘caution contents may be hot’ on a cup of coffee.

I suspect he was briefed on the research that has been ongoing regarding UV light to treat viruses. There's some really promising stuff out there.
I suspect that he's too thick to grasp what he was told so explained it as best he could.

Did anyone see panorama last night?

The gov classed 500,000 pairs of gloves as 1m pieces of PPE. They like manipulating figures, when they can pronounce them.

“I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen,” Mr Trump told a journalist who asked him to clarify, repeatedly saying he had been sarcastic.

He was clever enough to parlay his family money into a much bigger fortune, however, he should have known sometimes people can't detect sarcasm.
