If anyone still thinks our judiciary and tribunal process are sane they need to look at the tribunal decision for the nurse in Fife (Sandie Peggy).  If you don’t know the case she was disciplined for objecting to a man in the female changing rooms at work.

The judgement stated that there is no evidence that a man in a woman’s only space is any more of a threat to a woman than a woman would be.

Here is a verbatim quote “In our view, having read all the documents, there is very far from sufficient reliable evidence to establish as a fact that a trans woman who is legally and biologically male is a greater risk to any person assigned female at birth within a changing-room environment at a workplace than another woman assigned female at birth”

Watched all this crap up in Scotland for years now, Sturgeon and the Greens were mad for it. Pure lunacy and anyone supporting it should be seeking help.

The whole series is being published now and I will even watch Chris Packam's effort.

Only 82 MPs attended which is a shame but entirely expected.

There's a syndrome about populations living under threats like volcanoes coping by ignoring the inevitable. We are like that now. The thing is it's now too late to avert these problems and it was because long dead politicians and dictators didn't take precautions, because the poor aspire to have their share of what the rich have had and the rich won't retrench because they are enjoying what they already have and want more. We have pickled the planet in our effluent.

We knew we couldn't rely on fossil fuels beyond a few more generations, and then came  the problem from the surge in use of the atmosphere to dump the consequential CO2,  but resisted change for all my 3/4 of a century.

Well, anyone seeking solace wouldn't find much in there! Not that I disagree with any of it. Though I would add that today's and the not so long dead politicians and dictators should be shouldering more of the blame. The long dead ones might have known that there was a problem, but they couldn't have known quite how grave a problem it was going to be. They knew nothing in comparison to what today's lot know but choose to ignore.

Is it really too late though? That's a bleak outlook. Surely it's worth striving to make the eventual outcome even slightly less bad.

Chris Packham. I'm in two minds about the bloke. I like the message but not so much the messenger. He's a bit much, but I'm grateful he's doing what he's doing.

Thanks The Donald.

I saw that, but I was going to put it in the Potus thread.

It doesn't matter where you put it. The same people who have fallen for the emperor with new clothes will still do what they can to belittle it, as they know that their horse is losing.

I said a while back that we're looking at West Streeting, and JD Vance as leaders in the interim. They're both part of Bildeberg, and both very much part of Peter Thiel's team.

Make of that what you will.

Yep, I don't trust that Wes Streeting bloke much at all. I reckon he'll turn out to be even worse than Kier Starmer. Talking of cloths, they're both smurfs who've stolen Elmo's cloths.
