My wife is a social worker and she has 30 cases when she should only have 12. She works in child services as well. Its easy to blame social workers but they are short staffed and underfunded.

In a thread all about Trump too.... as I said a few times, Trump is complicit in these crimes by keeping his mouth shut at the very least, though listening to some of the US senate speaking (who do have privileged access to information) the link is a lot more seedy than that.

@sime42 your patch is it not ??, rather than jump to conclusions or make uninformed assumptions, any info on what’s the local news got to say about that incident. That was a woman desperate to get away for whatever reason ?? Wouldn’t you agree.

Completely agree mate, that was a woman desperate to get away for whatever reason. Thankfully she managed it. All credit to the locals I say, (fair play to the big guy with the stick as well), without their humanity she probably wouldn't have made it.

No dude, no idea. Related or not, it doesn't make it OK. All I know is what I've seen in that news report. Yer man James Garvey probably knows all the fine details of the incident, tap him up. 

 

Luckily all those locals stepped in to help the girl and then apprend the wrong 'uns. The power of community spirit.

Oh I’m well aware being related doesn’t make it ok and I’m also well aware of the fate of free spirited daughters within certain communities.
