AI controlled drone swarms are a very real thing. It would be terrifying except it's a bit like nuclear missiles: there's nothing you can do to defend yourself, so you might as well not worry.

They are indeed and will become more sophisticated very quickly. Have you read The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson?

Re the "Migrant" scam.

Imagine if a group of random people managed to climb into Starmers back garden, knock on his conservatory window and ask for a bed.

DPS would crash tackle the lot of them, have them handcuffed and placed under arrest, every effort would be made to establish their identities, them being detained untill that was known, if not they would remain in custody under the PACE legislation . They would almost certainly be trespassed from his house and you know that process would be dragged out for as long as humanly possible

Investigations would be made into how exactly those randoms made it into the garden and potentially disciplinary action taken.

Yet tens of thousands of mysterious people are being accommodated and disappear but the UK public dosnt have the gumption to protest about it?

Its all your own fault.

astronomical amount or Armour, artillery and infantry deployed in Ukraine.

And yet, not discounting the significance of the above, this remains one of the most chilling things I have read about the war, things are changing all right.

Ukrainians face new airborne threat that has killed 24 civilians and injured hundreds more since July

More recently the Russians use cabled drones to avoid jamming. Cables up to 20km long....

Scary stuff indeed.. Not even Rambo can do much about shit like that. (Except maybe run around with cable cutters). We're into sci-fi territory now.

…..or you could just use swarms of AI powered drones to hunt and destroy swarms of enemy AI drones.

Warfare has never stood still in the past…. It’s a bit arrogant to assume we have reached the pinnacle now.

And count down to when the AI goes rogue / gets confused, and starts hunting those it's meant to be protecting.

Yes, drones and cyber tactics to take out the drones.

Can get a lot of drones for the cost of a missile (thousands more) and the drone operators only have to be lucky once, the anti-drone systems have to be lucky every time for each of them. Ukraine showed before you only need 1 drone to take out a multi-million pound aircraft sitting a thousand miles from the front line.

🤷‍♂️As far as I’m aware not many are coming from cold climates. Unless you know different. Your average channel boat doesn’t exactly look like it’s full of people who struggle with a few days of mid 30s heat.

Ah, just look at those children babies and women!
