How do people define racism?

Dictionary meaning? Which dictionary? From what year? You’re not bound by that definition unless you want to be. You could alter it or write your own.

An elephant test? You can’t easily describe it but you know it when you see it. But what if other people see it (i.e. the world) differently?

The reality is that nobody’s thought about it. They just let themselves get sifted into boxes of being “racist” or not, with no consideration of what it really entails. The media push people in all directions. It doesn’t matter which direction people allow themselves to be pushed as long as they get pushed into one position or other (and then keep buying the appropriate newspaper for that position).

I sat down and thought about it a while ago. I decided that I think racism is when you think a group of people are unworthy of self ownership, like how animals are generally regarded as property, not moral agents etc. So you can dislike blacks or whoever but as long as you don’t think they shouldn’t be able to conduct their own lives as humans, you’re not a racist. You just don’t like black people.

JD, My lass works with people who were, and are, subject to the things you speak about. You are jumping on a bandwagon you know nothing about. In real terms.

I will give it a rest if you will.

If you mean shut up about Muslim rape gangs and the like no can do mark.
Good for your Mrs not an easy job I’d imagine, unless she’s breaking every professional code of conduct in the book my knowledge should be at least as much as yours. I’ve two ex army friends who are now retired who served in Manchester and South Yorkshire “ one of whom is now in allendale a lovely part of the world” police forces. Some of the information they have passed on as a father is hard listening Mark. We all  have sources of knowledge or a basis for our opinions mark but that’s all they are 🤷‍♂️as the old saying goes “ opinions are like arseholes we all have them but no one wants to hear them”

The police are worse than anyone else in this. They flat out refused to believe the victims in Newcastle when another mate brought the thing to their attention in the early 2000's.

Nothing but contempt for the filth, my mate was a copper, they hung him out to dry after 29 years and 9 months service, then he blew his own head off.

What does he have to say when someone throws around that libtard charge at people?

Librtard 🤷‍♂️Hyperliberal, Hyperliberal🤷‍♂️Libtard either or take your pick it’s even being used by Labour MP’s 😂😂

The minority of people who voted these clowns in must be embarrassed at how badly they are reading the room.
There’s an alternative as Marks fellow Northumbrians and the people of Runcorn have shown 😂😂 👍👍
