Just a fact correction, the Scots comments go over his head - he's a Geordie? or close enough? However the learning English comment still stands.....

He does know two Norwegians though, and at least one Finn who has done nation service.

Don't Scots join for the fighting?

We've an unwritten rule that we have to be nice to people when we're abroad so that we're distinguishable from other Brits, so once you've fought with everyone in your village/town/city the next step traditionally is soldiering.

You utter prick, Born in Northumberland, live in Aberdeenshire, served in the British Army. Two of my 4 sons have completed national service in Finland, 3rd due to go next January after completing his degree. I really wish you were stood in front of me right now so I could ask you to repeat that to my face.

What a bullshit factually incorrect post Mike. You seem to think you are the only one who’s ever travelled a bit or lived and worked in Scandinavia.

I see you have not lost that tendency to go with the wind at every opportunity 42

It was very calm and peaceful on Arbtalk for a few weeks whilst you and your mate were banned/ gagged/

underwater/on holiday/away from the internet/playing with your new toys/having a rest! (please feel free to delete as appropriate!)

Normal service has now resumed, same arguments, insults and keyboard demonstrations of manliness!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was a bit worried about your wellbeing for a while, but glad to see you're back to your cheerful old self again. 😉

Insults 🤔

None of the above by the way. Calm and peaceful 🤣. No keyboard demonstrations I’m afraid. What I said was fact. Now if that offends you so be it. Like I said to 42 I was there on other threads or topics just couldn’t be arsed to respond to the childish shite I read on occasion.

It’s good to know that you care. I did see the odd bit of embarrassing shite such as this but as I said 🤷‍♂️just couldn’t be arsed to play.
