Hey guys !

Not been able to log in for a long while due to mad hours of work.

But what a journey it have been, done so many stumps so I feel I can grind them blind folded now, the other week had some action tipped the machine on the side, tried to catch it ! if I had been a little younger I would have managed, instead I got a blue black yellow red leg lol, and scratched my head so much I should be bold !

This is first time for a long time I actually had some time to log in here, so I got 20 minutes to read here on this great site.

No idea how you plan your work week, I'd hazard a guess you even work weekends..

What you want to do is take a day off at least once a week...

The body needs a rest as much as the mind, otherwise these little incidents might just find a way of catching up with you...

Days off are overrated!

I've not had one in 4 months.

But I'm taking 4 days next week as we're taking boys to Alton towers for their birthdays 😁

You're nuts! Your kids are only there once, then they're grown and gone. If I've got a chance to play with mine while they're little over anything else, they'll always win, I'll never look back and think I wish I saw them less and worked more

I left a job today to go to my little boys first sports day. He won his first race and only came third in the bean bag race cos he's slipped from trying too hard but was catching the two infront as he went for the line. It was great to see him trying so hard.

After I went back to work.

I think I've got the balance right!

Sorry bit off topic there!

Good to have you back on the forum stefan, I like your can do attitude, but don't try and catch your grinder again- they're heavy old machines. Hope your leg gets better soon.

Bet you didn't stay off work long eh?!

I only work 6 hour days 3-4 hours at weekends. I do the school run both ends of the day and I'm with them till bedtime. So it's not like I don't see them probably more than most dads see their kids. I see a lot more of them than I saw of my dad!

I was workaholic

(19 years and no holiday except bank holidays - when I was too ill to drive I employed a driver to get me from job to job)

It wasn't the right thing to do ....no one will thank you

Don't be a busy fool .........
