Leyland 804 on our new (used) timber trailer, a few handles to get head round

 

That looks a great sized timber trailer. Would be just what i need! Most seem to big and numb but that looks bob on!

 

How wide is it?

Thanks Marcus, but I've a mig, stick, and oxy/acetylene all sitting here so that would just multiply the embarrassment!

 

Usual self-employed dilemma I'm afraid, paying stuff has to come first, your own stuff then has to fit in around it.

 

And on top of that, this winter has went in serious quick don't you think? (not that that's a bad thing mind!).

Aye its perfect size for the Leyland and MB 1000. Its 6ft wide inside the posts.

Some have a pretty big price tag on them too, we were lucky to find this one just 6 miles away.

Just re-mounted the controls at the weekend and made a platform for the 3 point linkage to fit either tractor.

I need to decide what to do with this donkey... 8' wide, bit too long really aswell

 

Might move onto another trailer but still needs a grab etc at some point as still using chains at the moment.

 

Any suggestions? Or just move it on and buy somethig else? I really do like a flat bed rather than normal timber trailers

Sell both tractors.buy abig hp 4x4 tractor and huck lift trailr with differant bodies to suit.

Tidy 856, 2wds have alot of advantages working in tight spots. Get most places too with a good set of tyres the back.

Firm near me makes up trailer to pretty much any spec you like, I liked the idea of a multi purpose drop side dump trailer. With sockets to accept bolsters too, that way you can have a trailer for chip one day and a timber shifter the next...
