Hi Everyone,

Now summers here (between the rain showers) im looking to lighten my PPE when i can.

Im on the look out for a comfortable pair of boots both for on the ground (surveying & Inspecting) and up in the tree for light reduction works using handsaws.

A few boots that have caught my eye are...

Aku Croda

Arbpro evo 2

5ten guide tennies

Gore-tex superalp gtx

if anyone has had any experiences with any of these boots or owns a pair id love to hear your opinions on them Pro's and Con's.

or if anyone has any suggestions about other boots they think are best im all ears. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/thumbup.gif

Thanks in advance,http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/thumbup1.gif

Jack

P.s When the chainsaws and heavy equiptment comes back out to play my toes will be safely back behind Kevlar and steel toe caps.http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/001_tongue.gif

I get a lot f where out of the AKU's. They don't make croda anymore.

Nod had a few pair left at the Arb show in random sizes. Might be a pair in your size. The Cresta were never cd boots and lasted me nearly 4 years. The Viaz not so good. I managed to find a pair of Cresta in my size.
