  1. Thanks for the input guys ! Gutted about the Aku Croda's as i really liked the look of them, saw them at the trade show but not in my size. Tennis look like a comfortable walk about boot not too sure how long they'd last being climbed and worked in everyday. as for the werewolves the lack of heal on them is slightly putting me off but they seem a good idea loosing the steel toe. The search continues .....
  2. ill have a look now ! Are those the ones that are chainsaw protective but have no steel toe cap ?
  3. Hi Everyone, Now summers here (between the rain showers) im looking to lighten my PPE when i can. Im on the look out for a comfortable pair of boots both for on the ground (surveying & Inspecting) and up in the tree for light reduction works using handsaws. A few boots that have caught my eye are... Aku Croda Arbpro evo 2 5ten guide tennies Gore-tex superalp gtx if anyone has had any experiences with any of these boots or owns a pair id love to hear your opinions on them Pro's and Con's. or if anyone has any suggestions about other boots they think are best im all ears. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/thumbup.gif Thanks in advance,http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/thumbup1.gif Jack P.s When the chainsaws and heavy equiptment comes back out to play my toes will be safely back behind Kevlar and steel toe caps.http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/001_tongue.gif

  9. Hi Jack,

Another way of getting into Private Message is to go to home page ... near the top of that will be a heading 'User CP' with your name on etc and under that should be a Private Messages heading click on that and then the control panel comes up and from there you can send a new private message I'll try and send you one now

  10. Jack,

If you look on the top righat hand corner where it says Welcome, Jack O'Brien do you have a list of stuff? you should have Private messages under your name click on that and once you have you shuld have a control panel on the left hand side of the screen from there you can send private messages

  11. Hey Jack see if you can reply to this
