The speed increase is amazing.

I remember Barry Ditchburn breaking the 110 mph barrier in the 70s.

 

Wasn't the old Dunlop TT100 tyre a mass produced version of the tyres used to break 100 mph not much earlier - hence the name.

 

These riders are just incredible.

Yes think so . Originally it was call the K81 then changed to the TT100 . Had them on my R.E. Constellation . :001_smile:

So you backing TT rather then moto GP then?.... They are both bloody so brave...just amazing how fast they go....would love to be on the back of one going round the TT circuit.....ha ha...not even in my dreams I would like to do that.no chance.

 

 

You could always catch a "backy" with someone on Mad Sunday....

I'm not really into bikes, I prefer formula 1 myself (which is brilliant this year), but the tt is something I always make an effort to watch. It's amazing how the times are still dropping.

 

 

Is Formula 1 the one where they have a practice to see who is fastest, then give them a head start?
