The speed increase is amazing.

I remember Barry Ditchburn breaking the 110 mph barrier in the 70s.

 

Wasn't the old Dunlop TT100 tyre a mass produced version of the tyres used to break 100 mph not much earlier - hence the name.

Yes think so . Originally it was call the K81 then changed to the TT100 . Had them on my R.E. Constellation .

I'd not get on the back of any bike these days.

 

Last time I got on a bike it took off with me:001_rolleyes: 600 Bandit. I rode it back at a slightly slower pace.

I'm not really into bikes, I prefer formula 1 myself (which is brilliant this year), but the tt is something I always make an effort to watch. It's amazing how the times are still dropping.
