Rigging rope

Hello

 

i am looking to buy some rigging rope about 45-50m long, 14-16mm, as what i have at the moment is my dads old three strand blue stuff which is horrible to work with!

as i have a very low budget i was wondering about looking on ebay and going second hand but i dont really like ebay all that much, also not to sure on how bad the product may be or if its scam or not!

also dont think me rude, but just an enquery wondering if anyone on here had a fairly newish, or even older rope that they would be willing to sell for around the 100 pound mark give or take a bit?

here you got it better than 3 strand rope and you get change for your £100 here is two choices Marlow 16mm Draco rigging rope (50m) Teufelberger 14mm Sirius bull rope (50m)

Sirius is tough as hell. I keep trying to break it!

 

Marlowe rope is okay too, but I'd go with the Sirius.

Search for "bull rope" on eBay. eBay ain't all bad.

Don't know, I just don't like the Marlowe ever since I spliced it.

 

I use 12mm Sirius for the majority of rigging. The 18mm line only gets used for blocking down big ass stems.

 

I have really pushed the 12mm on rigging limbs, and it's still going strong.

I really like the 12mm sirius as well. Feels weird having a small rope for rigging but offers loads benefits. Mainly being light as hell when your dragging it around the tree.

I also have had a go at trying to break it but it pretty strong stuff.
