Freezing temperature here in Berlin today , warmed my fingers using the exhaust from the 200 t .

You Can't do that with your battery models.

 

That was the first thing I missed when using it in the cold , I suffer badly with 2 fingers that have been cut badly years ago so they are like blocks of ice .

Try and keep your wrists warm , makes all the difference.

My local dealer will not sell the battery top handled stihle without the correct tree climbing certificate.

has anyine else suffered this?

 

They didn't check where I bought mine, though they do know me in there and have bought climbing stuff and a 201 from there too. They didn't check then either.

Need heated gloves too eh!

 

Good idea getting a variety of battery sizes. I've heard that our husky batteries are not holding charge as well anymore. Any experience of this with the stihls?

I have found the husky batteries have variable charge capacities.

 

I have 3 of them. I number them with a marker them to keep an eye on it.

 

No 2 is the best, keeps going longer.
