so i just looked up the emissions on a new dmax-194. that means £1200 a year!

 

Am i missing something or is this a blatant money grabbing exercise that once again attacks the motorist!

 

anybody else tempted to do what the caravan boys do and just nick a similar model cars numberplate.

I read over the link and have concluded that the UK government has taxing its citizens into the poor house down to a science++. I can understand a fuel tax on usage of petrol or diesel, however an additional annual road tax just to add more insult to injury is really bad.

Im guessing the way it clearly says cars is the difference

Commercial vehicles will probably still have a different system
