Reg, Do you have any involvement in the cutting at the base for removal? If so can you elaborate on the cuts used?

Thanks

We don't do the base cutting Tom. They just make two opposing cuts but stop short at a streak of hingewood in the middle. No overlap though. The tree hopefully just sits there.

Nice one. Imagined as much but remember seeing them cutting one up on the tv show and always wondered if there was a specific cut

Thanks

That's pretty jaw-dropping work Reg.

Not getting the credit it deserves on here IMO, although I know that's not your bag.

Pisses me off a bit that the 'what chainsaw trousers are best to do a wet fart in?' type threads seem to get more response.

Keep them coming, it is appreciated.

What spikes are you on mate?

No worries mate. Stein spikes with the long gaffs.

You can send the tops anywhere Will, but you can't leave hangers.

Monday was my last day until next week....as I had jobs booked in of my own. Then I recieved some shocking news from today, and later this pic from Dan Holiday.
