Has anyone used one of those pressure washers where you don't need a water supply? I.e it can suck water from a water but/container rather than using a hose pipe off a tap.

Thinking about getting one as the yard doesn't have a water supply.. I've heard good thinks about nilfisk or whatever they're called...

Anyone got one/used one with this function?

I have one, paid good money for it to...

Its now stuck in my shed waiting on getting fixed.. I might just leave it like that, and every time someone wants to borrow any of my gear, I can look at that and say.... get thee through that gate...

Other than that, yea, handy tools better than the ones with a hose attached..

Ours is currently set up that way at work.

Sucks the water out of a butt that's supplied from a tap to a water trough ball valve in the butt.

This'll be changing though, as when we move, it'll be supplied off a 10,000 litre rain water capture tank from our new shed, that will be also supplying the crop sprayer.

Think mega reduced water rates...

had to use my makita one a while back to clean up an old war memorial in middle of nowhere.

just took an old water butt and connected hose to outlet tap, worked a treat.

IBC sat up on a few pallets to give you a bit of a head, would do you even better.

You can aways connect the pressure washer to a pump.

My dad has a submersible pump he dangles into Windermere and connects to his pressure washer, this allows him wash his boat without using mains water.
