They seem to go for the same money as working ones, which is usually a tenner short of a brand new one!

 

I have seen this myself and never understood. Half price, fair enough - but year old with unknown amount of use for 90% of the new price is crazy. Pay the extra and get a new one with warranty.

You even see the really old 0 series (024 026 etc) stuff selling north of £200, now that stuff is better part of 20 years old now!
