I had a little thing that Judge developed. Worked a treat but unfortunately it fell of my harness never to be found again.

I have just realised in my little mind that I could do exactly the same with a fig8 I never use.

Pass a bite of rope through the centre of a fig 8, around the limb and back through the fig 8. Then three or four or five or six bites (loops) of the tail end of the rope through the loop that has been passed through the fig8. Clip a small accessory bina through the small hole on a fig 8 and clip to the working end of you line. When finished the working on the redirect pull the tail of the line and the loops will come out and the fig 8 will come back to you via the accessory bina to you.

Hey presto a retrievable redirect.

haha yup , I have an inco prussic I use for redirects and for a second system , bit more versatile then a sling , the 8 is where its at for redirects , as rich said , you can use the holes instead of a ring.

By this I mean you can use it the traditional way and also use it a a ring *
