Rob, any news on the new echo?

High clip point? Possibility of an 8" sprocket nose bar?

I doubt it on either - someone called Charlie got a display one from the APF and it is pretty much the same saw but a bit wider.

We have 10" Sugi bar/chain combos here GROUP 0 Echo chainsaws Archives - Sugihara Guide Bars

No one seems to know what bar and chain it will come with - and it's pretty hard going trying to get info out of the importers!

Will e-mail them again today....

I "presume" it will be the 1/4" as that is what all the last 2510's where. Will hopefully find out soon!

Just a thought, if I got the replacement 2511 and kept the 280 but didn't have a bar and chain with the new saw would there be a discount on the £120 that I could put towards the sugihara bar from rob instead? Unless you could supply them from rob as part of your sugihara range?

But will it be the 1/4 .043 or 1/4 .050?

I've rung them to find out and hopefully it'll be the .043 option..

I would have thought they would just use an oregon chain and I didnt think there was that option with oregon. Be interesting but i'll guess its the 0.50 as I would imagine they had a lot of bars and chains stocked up for the 2510 and would doubt they want to loose any more money than they already have.
