Found these in the lakes while on holiday the fir being the tallest tree in the lakes.

58.7m in 2011

It's quite a tree along with a whole load more huge trees!

Some amazing lime pollards I saw whilst quoting recently. Never seen any like this before. And a chestnut with some interesting branching, not sure what has caused this, photo is not great though
