Done nothing for WEEKS!!!

Been harvesting, then just as we finished that, I got called up by another farmer to do a load of drainage ditch / pipe work....

Should be done tomorrow (Friday)...

Then it'll just be all hands on deck playing catch up....

Edit...

On my own too...

Boss goes away for a week Saturday - back for 4 days, then away again for another week!!! :sneaky2:

Does it take a while to dry in your barn? Can't see where the ventilation comes from?

Floor and walls are lined with pallets and walls have vent holes on them from when it was a cattle barn, we get plenty of wind on our area so have almost constant air flow through the heap, drys very quickly thankfully.

Second load of ash and Beech today! Some lovely stuff

Is that for yourself I take it?? If so I was just wondering on average how long does it normally take you or any one else on here to process a timber lorry load of wood (I assume you use a processor?)

Hopefully the link above works, I know it's been a long time coming and some of you wanted to see my prpcesspr so here's a a vid of my Dalen 2054 doing what it does best haha, if the link didn't work search " DALEN 2054 firewood processor, Hertfordshire, England" on YouTube and it should come up!

Be good to see some vids (or pics) of you guys and your machines, I find it good to see different people setups and toys!

Been sawing these lovely straight 4m lengths of pine up into manageable lengths to hand ball into the chipper for the biomass boiler.

Was all going lovely until as we lost the light, a timber hook fell into the chipper unbeknownst to us and mangled up all3 blades [emoji85][emoji85] hopefully we can get them ground right back and still use them but it was rather frustrating!6a2ac8f6ad5d1e378b6f1293fbd57a12.jpg
