We have a greenmech arb 130 too and never had an issue with it firing into the truck, in the past we have had it happilly firing over fences etc. What RPM does it read when right up on the throttle? Are the blades new in it and whats the chip grade like coming out of it?

Sim, they are a great machine from our experience, the only thing i would have done was to get to 150 as the 130 suffers a lack of bottom end power some times being petrol, whereas the diesel has a bit more umph, its not detrimental to the machine but would be handy when banging through conifer at 5"

The chip grade is small, it's on 66 hours now and I have just fitted a new set of blades after rotating the old ones a couple of times. I think from memory it's about 2750 when on full throttle.

I was going to say that the only time my old Entec doesn't throw far enough is when the revs bog right down on a thick bush of conifer or a large log. It's gravity fed so down to me. If I feed it right the chip hits the back of my pickup cab pretty hard!

I reckon Sam has probably nailed it.
