Which blower for milling

Evening.

I'm thinking of buying a second hand blower to help me tidy up when milling. Having never used one before I thought I would ask if people thought a hand held was suitable or back pack would be better.

I wouldn't like to start a husky or stihl debate but recommended models would be great. Also does anyone have one they want to sell .

Back pack is a non starter really as you only need one for a few seconds usually. I had the Stihl BD86 and it's not great. The on/off button stopped working fairly early on (have to choke to kill it) and it's not an amazing starter either. Just shoddy construction I guess.

 

I use it with the nozzle at half length, as the full 3ft is awkwardly long for getting into the nooks and crannies of the machine.

We use the basic model stihl one for tree work and milling with a alaskan mill

Don't buy the Ryobi blower, my father in law has one and it would struggle to blow the skin off a rice pudding!

Thanks. To clear things up. I mostly need the mill for clearing up sawdust off grass at the end of the day. Running a lucas mill I don't really need to blow it out on sight. I use compressed air in the workshop once home. I imagine it would take 15 mins or so at the end of the day.

I keep eyeing up some of the domestic battery jobbies (mainly the Bosch one). My old Stihl BG was such an awkward thing to store in the bac of a 4x4, they just flop around and take up loads of space.
