You're too kind, mate  Glad to say I've only ever had to put up with your strange way of eating chicken, not choking it.

I did have to throttle my cock a few years back as it kept attacking the post lady, but I got rid of that and the hens some time ago. :001_smile:

A lad who worked for me some years ago had some complex issues to do with the toilet. Preferred to go on a newspaper then chuck it in the bin! he also got into bother once for leaving turds in the holes at the local golf club or so I got told! Once confessed to doing things because of the voices in his head.

The poor soul was tormented by some inner demons - harmless to me and not a bad worker on the whole but he had some complex issues for which society could not handle.

Not so much a work mate but when I was an NPTC assessor I asked the candidate to prepare the tree ready for felling. He walked straight up to the tree, hugged it and said a few words under his breath; he then began to clear escape routes etc.

When I asked him what he had done and said he stated 'Saying thanks to the tree and apologising to the wood fairies for its felling.....'

A driver employed by a mate years ago.

He went to the doctor and confessed that while delivering coal (his main work duty), every time he saw a queue at a bus stop he was getting an almost irresistible urge to run them down. The doctor diagnosed depression and gave him a sick note.

His contract meant he was able to sit at home, on full pay, for six months. I think he quit after that and went to work elsewhere.

Weird, or playing the system?

Tip my hat to that fella . He's obviously more in touch with life than you :001_smile:

Years ago when I was employed in a factory we had a woman who would get up half an hour earlier than necessary (4-30am) am to re-iron her already ironed uniform as she reckoned she couldn't bear to put it on straight from the drawer!

Another lad also burnt his hip with the iron after trying to iron his trousers while wearing them. Oh we did have some fun at his expense.
