I spotted these at the animal feed shop this morning, I reckon its 50p + for a very small log depending which type. No shortage of takers:confused1:

I always look at those logs in wonder.

Remind me of some "sort of relations" got word to me that they wanted some free firewood; you know the sort!

Anyway I sorted out some sacks of dodgy offcuts/builders waste timber and left them at a convenient place for them to collect but someone elses' place.

After a while the person whose place it was said that they didn't want them but wanted "pretty" logs not firewood!

They burnt fine for me and I'm sure my ash was just as pretty as their "pretty" log ash!

I saw some CPL bags at the local Bargain Buys and they were not so much of a bargain as you say, looked to be about 7 or 8 softwood logs for £3.50

I have a neighbour who has "show wood" stacked by the wood burner. Been there two years now, gathering dust. It's about half a cube of beech.

I was at a Tesco a few weeks ago, can't remember the price but there was 5 dirty damp looking softwood logs in the net. Absolute joke!

Yes i cant resist looking at the rubbish logs in the entrances to B & Q and Tesco, was inspecting the tesco ones a bit too closely the other day,as i got the evil eye off the security boy.

Our local garden centre sells kiln dried logs from the company we all know. 8 logs in each bag and only £7.99. Bargain. And their kindling, small, really small rectangle box, only £5.99....joke
