I'm quite happy where I've settled in East Anglia, if I won the lottery I wouldn't move far from where I now live, I'd buy a different place where there wasn't a white line in the middle of the road and Also buy myself a narrow boat so I could escape as and when I wanted to. Pretty content me.

Where we are in Surrey is good but its way too busy for a quiet life, when I knock it on the head I will go south east or south west where I wont get bothered by folk who just want this or that.

With a shotgun?

I'll stick with Snowdonia, on a clear day I can see Ireland, look out out over Caernarfon and Anglesey. Roads have lichen growing on them its so quiet here.

I'd leave the wind behind though, I know why residents of St Kilda used to go deaf during big storms. And the 1300mm of rain since 1st November.:thumbdown:

Good choice ti, although I reckon there are more stolen car fires in Bon y maen to keep you warm on the streets in the winter when your drinking special brew with your mates whilst flexing your biceps
