Just watched a vid of a guy stateside running a 372 on a 16" bar, I'm guessing with an 8pin sprocket as well and he was flying.

I know they run an 18" fine but a 16" would let me use it for coppice work, but I think my arms may be a little longer by days end with the weight of it.

My 372 was originally supplied on a 15" bar and chain set up, from memory it was a option from the catalogue in the choice of 3 bar sizes recommended for it.

This saws also got a big bore kit on it with a supposed 90cc. Guess that I'll be having a big smile on my face tearing the trees down with a small bar

Big bore is 77cc's ish. Here is a big bore ported a bit hot on a 2165:

18", 8 pin, stock chain, in a maple that's been sitting a while.

If it is a BB kit, I would highly suggest using a meteor piston and caber rings. The kits piston I have seen had more tolerance than I care for.

I figured it sounded a little to much of an increase in power.

You running full chisel on that as it's flying through that maple.
