Loads of threads on here about this... I'm wearing Meindl airstreams. They're good boots. I'd like to try the Arbortec Scafell. They're expensive though and heard they are quite rigid, but I very much like the look of them.

Ive been googling around and searching but the search feature seems to throw up mostly unrelated posts. Or I am just bad at searching. Thanks for the response anyhow.

When you put in a search there are some unrelated posts but scroll down the page until you find one . :001_smile:

Go to a suppliers if you can and try on as many as you can. They come up different sizes and shapes so a 43 in one might not fit or be a comfortable as a 43 in another make. Even within brands they can differ. Over the years I have used many and just got the arbotec scafel lights. Comfy from day 1.

I just manually searched the forum, Seems most people are wearing airstreams so i'll go with those.

Top rightish there is a yellow search tab . Click that put in " boots " then sift through . ...Air Streams are popular but check all the comments . Some find them too narrow others too cold and some have said they are not as robust as the were when they first came out . Anyway I used Meindle Wood Walkers for the ground and Pfanner Zermatts or spiking .
