Well I've had stuff nicked from yard and site before but knowing someone has been through your home is horrible. Small amount of money and jewellery taken. Located ta21

home sucks, had mine done years ago.

 

Thankfully kids so no real invasion, cd's beer from fridge, some cash etc

 

did make me a lil more paranoid for a while but then i came to conclusion that if i got stressed and unhappy they won. so improved security a bit (they put brick through window so hard to stop), upped insurance and moved on.

 

having said that if i had caught them it wouldnt be so forgiving, cops gave me a fair lecture on "checking" house with a big hammer in my hands....

Sorry to hear this. I believe that because home is the most sacrosanct place in our lives, the sense of intrusion and defilement is at its worse. I was at home with young children when we got burgled and it took months to sleep easy again.

 

Don't let it get you down and talk to people if you start to need to.

Vile scum . Sorry bud . I took my old Dad to visit my Mum in hospital and when I brought him home same thing . Know how you feel .
