Ultimate chipper

Over the past few months I've thought what would make the best around chipper putting all manufactures together, I came up with this ideas, all just for fun, obviously it's never going to happen. Please add or remove as you see fit! As follows:

 

Ifor Williams to make chassis using Knott brakes and coupling

 

Schliesing to make main chipping unit and roller setup (235MX it's not too heavy) but with blade setup and open flywheel from Jensen.

 

Timberwolf style rollers, removable blades.

 

Kubota 4 pot, long stroke, no turbo. Overrun clutch

 

Jensen folding infeed hopper, stop bar the curved one from A540 and touch buttons.

 

Tunnissen discharge chute assembly, simple but effective.

 

Greenmech finish and powdercoat process.

 

Greenmech electrics and feed control/ button start.

 

Direct drive hydraulic pump.

 

3x drive belts.

 

I reakon it'll sell, may cost a lot

You forgot Bandit top roller lift system + crush

Bandit ease of blade changing with locking pin , and big powerful engine so not too much auto feed drag down/ stop.

I suppose it's depends what you want out of a chipper ,there big and heavy but built to last .

Just my views I don't sell them but have had 6 over the past 20 years .

There's a new invention called a blower, cuts down that hour to 5 minutes 😉

 

Tunissen still has the spray pattern of a truckers butt hole tho.

Your all so yesterday. Mine would be based on those robotic mowers. The chipper wanders around on its own find the brash chips it and empties it in the truck

Extra few holes in the flywheel and casing so a locking pin can be inserted to keep the flywheel still when changing blades/tightening bolts. Tiz a royal pain on your own

Have an 40hp engine unit thats designed to hook up like a PTO

 

Have a chipper that can either be mated to the engine or to a tractor PTO

 

Have a turntable trailer mount for the chipper

 

Have a stump grinder unit that can either be mated to the engine or to a tractor PTO

 

Have a tracked unit that can have either the chipper or stumpgrinder fitted to it

 

So you have a trailered chipper, pto chipper, tracked chipper, tracked stump grinder and pto stumper if needed.

And if you need one any unit more full time you only have to buy extra modules.

Just imagine if the flywheel locking mechanism went belly up and locked while the chipper is running? I've never had the need to lock the flywheel but doubtless there are machines where it helps.

Was thinking exactly that when I saw our Quadchip had a sprung loaded pin. It promptly got cable tied in the locked out position.
