I know this is an old thread but did you purchase the Lohberger and if so how have you found it please?

Im in the market for dry cooker to replace a Rayburn which is too slow to warm up

Still have the Esse but will be getting a Lohberger as currently fitting out a granny annex.

i bought a 2nd hand esse ironheart which i put into my place in france. very pleased with it. kicks out a nice amount of heat and the oven works well. overload it and you’ll have the top plate glowing red.

i was lucky that the one i bought was old enough that i could fit a back boiler to it like yours. apparently the newer ones can’t have boilers due to emissions. eventually i might add a boiler to

mone but that’s way down the line

When I was looking at houses in France, one place owned by a Brit family had one of these installed. Not sure which model but it ran 6-8 cast iron radiators, the build quality and the royal blue enamel finish on the appliance was absolutely fantastic.
