We must have dumped 100 tonne at a riding school, local allotments are eating it faster than we can chip it. Sometimes i have found that the longer you are in business the more things tend to come to you "including people asking for chip" :thumbup1:

I've been in business 7-8 years and used to be able to get rid of a load a day like you said to riding schools and activity centres but now there are so many tree surgeons about all of those places a few and fair between plus we drop of at least 3 transit loads a day and most places won't take that much!!

As its say they are no longer collecting Woodchip and I literally have tons of it any ideas on what to do with it???

We'd take a mountain of chip here in Pembrokeshire.... so long as it doesn't contain any pressure treated stuff.

Find your nearest horticulture business/person that has a number of raised beds for veg or flower growing and you'll probably discover that they would also put a mountain of woodchip to use.

cheers, Steve

Tbh we were really lucky as they came to us, nobody else tips there. Alot of other tip sites have banned other contractors from tipping as their chip was ful of ****! Nice clean chip tipped where they want it, everyone is a winner.
