Thats coming from an old persons head etc

When your younger and theres a lot of lads out there just the same as you, you need to show willing, be better and if doing a days work for free gets your foot in the door why not.

It may be ok for the older generation to be sat on a bit of money and say dont do that thats daft but people starting off have to start somewhere. Whats 50-80 quid for the day co paired to the experiance that can be gained on the job esp if the company sees they are a good person and willing to learn.

I tell you what original poster do what you want not what others tell you!

That's ok, but don't start moaning when the bloke down the road undercuts your price by hundred quid because he's got a days free labour off some young lad.

I respect your point of view if it works for you and others that's great. Just does not sit right with me, not an age thing just decency. If your not sitting on a bit of money you need the £50-£80 more than ever. Start as you mean to go on. What young lads lack in experience they make up for in youth and energy and that's coming from someone with a middle age head and body :001_smile:

Sort of defeats the object of asking the question on a forum though. :001_smile:
