Ideally, but if you don't have anywhere 'secure' to keep her I'd suggest popping down to your local train station and attaching her to the railings with a bike lock, some spotty scallywag will have her away before you get back to the car!

Chainsaws, strimmers, and other such kit will always have an easy 'black market'. But when it comes to specialist kit such as chippers, stump grinders etc, there is a more limited market. So some of us must suspect those who have come into possession of "new" kit. So let's not be too reticent to highlight those who cannot vouch for the source of their kit. Sometimes naming and shaming the end user may assist in reducing the demand. Just a thought......................
