The holly bush is a good one ... So is are the pubs at fallstone which is close to greenhaugh so look around for places at greenhaugh and falstone its all national park there and your close to hadrians wall and keilder this ones in falstone ,worked here the other day and it is stunning also has 3 good pubs near by but about the most expensive to rent In Northumberland !

The first one I sent you a link too is out side the national park also on a working farm and the a accommodation is the nothing to write home about but I like staying up there if I want to be on the coast , good pubs and Food in local village there.

It's a big county so maybe worth doing a few nights in the national park then up on the east coast around Anick or the holy island john is what I would do.

Actually Matty's last sentence sounds quite good. Couple of nights national park and then over to the coast . Are you Camping Jon.?

don't miss hadrians wall and the pennines - some good spots there,

high force waterfall is worth a visit too, though not technically northumberland. i live nr allendale, where there are too many pubs, some of which are dog friendly and have good local crack

allenbanks is also a great spot for walk.

It's free parking with this disc for two hours . But please check parking restrictions , fines are 25 quid upwards.

I think you buy them from the shops. Be warned some park wardens are like vultures.
