great stuff, very enjoyable. did you switch to using a block when you were negative rigging?

Yeh swapped over to the large DMM and 20mm rope as couldn't let the chunks run much because of the wall and roof hence the amount of stem wobble at the end. Just had to get enough hight of it so when I felled the pole it didn't hit the culvert for the pond.

Today's put together from a few weeks back, again a little different as no climbing because I'd forgotten the camera the day before when we stripped out the back of the tree over the tennis courts to bias the balance.

Tree was removed on the councils recommendation after a large amount of Cambus started to die off and some of the main forks were compromised following a lightening strike.

Enjoy

No I have the st8, very little need for tracks when we have a rb and two landys 😉

Had a full day taking a lot of the back of this tree before I dared fell it as didn't trust the structure of the forks as was full of cracks and decay. Didn't want the rb to just rip of part of the tree.

Yeh remember the day trying to drag a very overloaded landy and chipper out of that Valley!

Trying to get away from just point of view, not that there's anything wrong with that sort but always interesting to be different if it works, moolah was a big help getting quite a few of the shots while I was working the saws or crane, thought I was going to destroy the camera at 1 point sitting it on a log to get picked up and it got trapped between two logs but luckily just scuffed the case.
