First day of the whole competition so far where the ref and TMO have made bad calls.

IMO Argentinas's no.3 should have got a second yellow, it wasn't a slap down and that last penalty was wrong.

Sad to see all northern hemisphere knocked out but it's been a great weekend of rugby!

There were a few questionable decisions and mistakes, but to miss out on semis due to a dodgy call from ref is a bit gutting, Scotland didn't help themselves in lineouts but refs penalty call changed the game. Will he ref at top level again?

Yes he will. ABs were on the receiving end of a missed forward pass from Wayne Barnes back in 2007. He was vilified back here in NZ because one eyed supporters blamed him for the loss (despite there being the rest of the game to put more points on the board than France). Turns out Wayne is a pretty decent ref. Everyone makes mistakes and, having not seen the match, I don't even know if it was a mistake but, Joubert is a bloody good ref. It'll just take time for the dust to settle.

You're probably right mate, just a scot feeling hard done by here, if we are being honest we thought wallabies would have trounced us, I'm happy with performance and accept result. Ref is still a diddy though!

Same Mark . Disappointing we went out without maximizing our potential due to some " selection errors " but yes its been a stonker .
