sit a pot plant on top of it and tell them not to be so tight:glare:. if its a cony then cut it flush and tell them it wont grow back if it is a sycamore or the such then poison it off. if you are feeling fit and dont want to be able to walk next week then take an axe and pick to it:thumbup:

A customer wants a couple of stumps removing but isn't too keen on hiring out a stump grinder due to the costs. Are there any cheaper alternatives to get rid of them (chemicals etc)?

thanks

Tell the customer to give them a good dose of time. 25 years and they'll have rotted out nicely, and not cost them a penny.

i did tell them that stump grinding would probably be the only option.

you lot have clarified this. thanks.

in that case, whats the cheapest hire rate in the east anglia region for stump grinders? £80/day at chipper tech isn't it?
