hello,

I have been looking at buying some new waterproofs for survey work but a bit overwhelmed by the number of choices available. Any pointers would be handy, many thanks Steve

Hi Steve I've a great skiing jacket mate lasted me 10 years and I'm still dry when we have 25mm of rain in a day thanks Jon

clark cut and climb here, not the cheapest by any means but very tough and waterproof, also makes a great wind proof jacket in the colder weather

+1 for the Cut'n'Climb.

Mines around 3 years old, it leaks ever so slightly now in proper heave rain but it's still a great tough jacket.

I need a good basic work jacket for this winter. How well would the Cut n Climb jacket last when clearing blackthorn and gnarly brambles?

£150 is a bit much to spend if it's likely to get shredded.

cheers, Steve
