I had always thought of these things as a bit "New Age" and not for me a spanner wielding, sawmill operating petrolhead.

We had the garden open as part of money raining for the Church and I had a bench made out of logs. We have a great view in all directions and I was deciding where to put the bench and found a particular area in front of a gap in a line of trees where one had died and been removed.

I put the bench in several places and sat down on it but these places were not right, not because they impeded the view, but just because they did not "feel" right. So it went in the first place I put it that felt right.

On the day it was remarkable in the two acres of garden with views in all directions that the fifty or so people who were in the garden throughout the day constantly changing, all ended up together at this spot. It was more than coincidence and more than being the best view. They just felt content, strangers chatting and not necessarily looking at the view.

I had not thought about the missing tree till I read this post

There are other places in the woods I like to go and sit on a log for a bit of thought collecting which "feel" right. Others which do not.

"There are more things in heaven and earth..........."

I've been reading about ley lines and found this interesting along with this site showing that everywhere in Britain is at the convergence of three ley lines at least one of which passes through Stonehenge. I do like a bit of nonsense to make sense of all the other stuff, there has to be balance in the universe. :D
