Finally managed to find enough junk in the states to fill a container and get the deck saw back.

 

Its an impressive bit of kit, I dont know what the chain is but its massive compared to 3/8" . The whole thing goes about half a ton.

Kind of, the electric motor runs the chain and the hydraulics operate the stroke and positioning

It looks pretty cool. Got a 'mad max' feel to it!

 

I feel sorry for whoever is sharpening the chain though!
