+1

Im not sure how long I can resist the call!

Ive had it for a couple of months and its done everything I have asked of it, Longevity remains to be seen, but so far im really impressed!

It's a Dolmar, one of the very first saws I used was a Dolmar & it was very good - I dont think theyve been messed around with like some others have

Hi ST

Please dont take it personally, it is after all an opinion, everyone is entitled to that.

Due to the diversity of the forum they're bound to be different.

Yes, and my point is that the saw only is interesting where it is cheap enough to be an alternative to "homeowner" saws, not where it is an alternative to pro saws.

It is what it is, no more and no less - a fine saw for the price on some markets, but not a stellar one on any market.

Just out of interest Saw Troll, since you pop up on every forum relating to chainsaws the world over, saying pretty much the same thing...

May I ask what your profession is and what saws you own?

Just curious, as I cant help thinking the answers are:

Marketing Executive - Husqvarna

None - are you kidding me? Those big oily things are really heavy man! :laugh1:

AFAICS it has: metal case, ajustable oiler & no gimmicky stuff so biased towards a 'pro saw'. Its around 349 euros, so even after a bit of a fall on the £ thats still around £260 which undercuts a 543 significantly.

I can see it being a good solution for both home & pro users.

yes t was summed up well  this saw has a lot to prove its only been on the market for 6-7 years so it's still along way to go

what else is out there that weighs less than 4.873 kg :thumbdown:
