Helmet repair

Got caught by a branch around the head the other day. It wrenched my helmet a bit and the strap came loose at one connecting point. Seems to have pulled off a small doughnut shaped push on clip. Anyone know if these can be bought anywhere. If not any repair ideas welcome Se pics below hopefully

I seriously doubt anywhere will sell spares like that as you would technically be altering a piece of ppe.

 

A pain to have to shell out for a new one though!

Blue tac, a paper clip and some duct tape?

You'd have to be cautious repairing a chin strap as they are supposed to break before your neck does.

Trust me just buy a new one as you then know it's going to do the job it's meant to. I got a fair whack the other week and was glad my lid did its job.

If your helmet is pulled off really hard there is always a chance of snapping your strap and it coming off in the hand. Not sure of any new developments re repairs just rest up and take it easy.
