My only real complaint with the AGT850 is that when flailing (reverse drive) the rad needs to be cleaned every 30mins or so as it gets clogged with grass, and will overheat. RRPITA!! Anyone else struggling with this and if so any fixes?

Thx Cdo

Desert engineering do cleanfix reversible fans so it blows the crud off it periodically:thumbup:

Have you got a belly plate on yours? Might help if not

No belly plate, does that help? I'm thinking of an exhaust mod, the exhaust is currently directed down onto the deck so blows dust and grass up and gets sucked into rad. Just wondered if anyone else had similar problems and come up with a simple fix.

Thx Craig

sometimes I wonder if the hp quoted for these are correct. This was on Cannock chase last week flailing off some rough scrubland (had been woodland about 10years ago) hence all the birch and oak scrub. its worth sticking in HD to get a better image of whats going through the flail

Yes I think the plate help stops the rad getting clogged, but maybe the belly plate wouldn't help much if you're getting dry clippings blown in from the side? Like CHC says easy to get stick/rad damage, even through the small gap at front of my plate (which I must fill in). Fan seems robust though, if a bit modified now!
