I use a repellent called Jungle formula. It was recommended to me by a doctor at the Tropical diseases Hospital in London after I ended up there for umpteen weeks when I'd been bitten whilst on holiday a few years ago.

Jungle in the UK Autan in Germany, Peaceful Sleep in Africa, all are good so long as they have Deet in them. Remember to pack them in you baggage luggage, I lost a £7 can unused to the nice people in Johannesburg Airport that was in our carry on bag with cosmetics etc.

Avon skin so soft, you smell like a old woman but the critters stay away, saved our holiday on skye a few years back as the little vampires were wick!!

My fiancé uses the bands, they are amazing...We've been with people before who have been bitten all over and she won't have a single bite. Not many places sell em tho!

A customer told me the other day about a patch you stick on your bum, she reckoned they really worked, she is allergic to mosquitos, so they need to work for her.

Jungle formula in a spray can - usually get two and a sting lotion from Costco. Haven't used Avon Skin So Soft but apparently Royal Marines used to be one of their biggest customers so it must work!
